A few weeks ago, the Oxford Dictionary Word announced its 2022 Word of the Year: “goblin mode”. For folks not in the know, the popular culture term refers to a type of self-indulgent, lazy mode of living that became a pretty accurate description of post-pandemic stressed-out reality.
Yet at MightyCall, we can definitely exhale and say that we’ve evaded “goblin mode” and over the past year activated our “magician mode”! 2022 has been incredibly busy and productive for the Mighty Team, and a lot of magic has been brewing inside our product.
From product awards to new feature releases and time-saving integrations, let’s take a look at how we’ve been helping businesses grow in leaps and make sure that “goblin mode” stays not just out of our vocabulary, but out of our customers’ (busy) business lives.
Awards 2022
This year, we continue on our winning streak. And if last year was made merry by important company awards like the Inc. 5000 list, this year the spotlight falls on MightyCall’s product.
In 2022, MightyCall was named a year-long G2 VoIP Leader. G2 is the largest tech marketplace and peer-to-peer review network. Its VoIP Leader award is based on customer feedback and reviews. In other words, for this entire year, customers chose MightyCall for its ease of use, reliability, and amazing customer support.
Adding to the tidings of joy is the Summer 2022 Top Performer Award by Sourceforge – the world’s leading software review platform. This recognition placed MightyCall among the world’s top 10 products in the VoIP category.
New VoIP Features
As we’ve said, the main focus in 2022 has been our product. Our developer team has been incredibly busy bringing entirely new possibilities and features to both the web and mobile versions of MightyCall. And best of all, all our new features are directly based on customer wishes, feedback, and reviews!
If you’ve missed anything over the past year, here’s what’s new:
General Voicemail Box
The first major release of the year for those of you focused on teamwork. General Voicemail Box (GVM) is a shared space for all company voicemails, so teammates can easily follow-up on each other’s business voicemails and delegate when necessary.
Call Waiting
A brand new call handling option that allows you to handle a second incoming call in several different ways – put it on hold, switch back and forth between calls, add a consultative call to the line, or forward the call to voicemail or another number. Best of all, this is not a pre-set option, so you can choose a different call handling method each time there’s a second caller on the line.
Multi-Level IVR
An advanced IVR feature that allows to create a multi-layer system of IVR menus. This one is perfect for expanding companies, businesses offering bilingual services, and companies with 2 or more office locations operating under one number.
MMS
Complimentary to SMS, Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) allows to send and receive any multimedia file to/from your business number (local or toll-free). MMS supports files like images, GIF, audio, video, documents, and more. Use it for quick customer communication, notifications, and MMS marketing.
Dark mode
Last but not least, dark winter days are a perfect time to activate the all new Dark Mode in the MightyCall Mobile App! Not only will business communication be easier on your eyes during long winter nights, dark mode will also extend your phone’s battery life.
New Integrations
Integrations are another top achievement of the past year for MightyCall. In 2022, we’ve taken our business phone system beyond an amazing standalone product, and developed native integrations with top CRM platforms. As a result, our customers can double the benefits of both tools while saving twice as much time!
- MightyCall-Zapier integration – The direct integration allows you to sync info in your MightyCall’s business phone system with your CRM, document, email, sales, team management, and other apps via Zapier.
- Salesforce integration – Our native integration with Salesforce allows you to skip third-party apps, and directly connect MightyCall with Salesforce. As a result, all your contacts in both systems will match and you’ll be able to make calls and view contact cards right from Salesforce.
- Hubspot integration – Another native integration that we released, this time for HubSpot users. When activated, business contacts between MightyCall and HubSpot will sync and you’ll have the same calling functionality in HubSpot that you use in MightyCall’s web profile.
Stronger Collaboration
And a final first for this year, we’ve joined forces with PartnerStack and launched a new and improved Partner Program.
PartnerStack is an affiliate marketing platform. It helps companies market and resell their products through affiliates and partners in the B2B field. The result is a two-way street that generates revenue and increases market visibility for both sides.
What’s different about PartnerStack is that it fully streamlines referral fees, commissions, and all other partner payments, making payouts fully automated. This means simplicity at both ends, and we’re incredibly glad to have made our partner program more accessible than ever.
