Save agents’ time with Answering Machine Detection

We’re excited to announce the launch of our latest call center feature: Answering Machine Detection (AMD). This feature is designed to save your team time by automatically identifying and disconnecting calls to answering machines and voicemail, ensuring that agents focus only on meaningful customer interactions.

Why you should use Answering Machine Detection?

Answering machines and voicemail can often waste valuable time for call centers, especially in high-volume environments. Our AMD feature skips them and moves on to the next important call faster.

How It Works

The Answering Machine Detection feature is available for both Progressive and Predictive dialing modes.

You can find the Answering Machine Detection option in the Auto Dialer campaign settings. By default, the option is turned off, but it can be easily activated with a simple toggle.

Once enabled, the dialer will detect and automatically disconnect calls that reach an answering machine or voicemail in less than 3 seconds.

Additionally, a new “Answering Machine” disposition will be visible in the System Dispositions section. By default, there will be no further action with the contact if the dialer detects an answering machine, but you have full flexibility to customize it according to your needs, just like any other system disposition.
